England star David Beckham has agreed to move to Italian giants AC Milan on a loan deal according to Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.
The LA Galaxy star, formerly of European giants Manchester United and Real Madrid, will join Milan in January as the MLS season ends next weekend.
Galliani said: "Beckham has chosen Milan. He'll stay here in Milan on loan for a few months.
"Our squad is ultra-competitive and it will remain this way but Beckham is something different and intriguing."
Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti added: "For me, it will be a pleasure. Beckham is a serious athlete, a great professional.
"If he'll be available for us, we'll be very happy."
Beckham may have decided on the move when England boss Fabio Capello made it clear he would only select active in-form players for the England squad.
