    The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team got two goals from Christopher Lema and a late strike from Ahinga Selemani to lead the team to a 3-0 victory against Haiti in its opening match of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama.

    The U.S. Women's National Team tied Germany 3-3 in a thrilling match on the 100th Anniversary of the U.S. Soccer Federation. The USA got goals from Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan in a superb second half that featured six goals in front of a spirited crowd of 16,090 on a chilly night outside of Frankfurt.

    Former U.S. Men's National Team forwards Joe-Max Moore and Peter Vermes have been elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Moore is the sole Player representative, while Vermes enters the Hall of Fame as a representative from the Veteran ballot.

    The U.S. U-20 Men's National Team was drawn into Group A of the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup starting on June 21 in Turkey. Joining the U.S. in Group A will be Spain, France and a team from the Confederation of African Football, which is still finishing up qualification. Each group match for the U.S. will take place in Istanbul.
