MLS Disciplinary Committee bans NE's Rowe for one game

New England Revolution rookie Kelyn Rowe is the latest player to run afoul of the MLS Disciplinary Committee, picking up a one-game suspension and undisclosed fine for endangering the safety of New York ‘keeper Ryan Meara over the weekend.

Rowe, in pursuit of an 87th-minute through ball from Shalrie Joseph, got to the play a step after Meara and made no attempt to pull out of the challenge. He ended up clipping Meara in the head with his right leg before going down in a heap. The Revs eventually won 2-0.
