De Rossi: Linked with City switch

De Rossi has called a media conference for Tuesday when he is expected to confirm his future plans.

Roberto Maninci is a confirmed fan of the 29-year-old Italian star, who only signed a new long-term deal with his hometown club in February.

Some reports in Italy have claimed that City are on the verge of agreeing a deal with both Roma and De Rossi.

But Zeman remains hopeful his midfield talisman will remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
