His assists and opportunistic moves in a recent friendly against Chilean power Universidad Católica, made the difference as Real scored two second-half goals after he subbed into the game.

    Sasha Victorine joined the Kansas City Wizards after five seasons with the L.A. Galaxy. The tall midfielder who drew acclaim during the 2000 Olympic performance of the U.S. team has been busy trying to help the defending Western Conference champs adjust to their move to another conference, since the Wizards were realigned into the Eastern Conference at the start of this season. The team has also had to cope with the loss of star players Josh Wolfe and Kerry Zavagnin due to national team call-ups. Finally, the team’s management has announced that the franchise is for sale if the right offer is made. Andrea Canales got Victorine’s take on the various situations.

    Eddie Johnson, scorer extraordinaire for the U.S. national team, has a new strike partner at FC Dallas, another pure goalscorer, Carlos Ruiz. Johnson spoke to 365’s Andrea Canales after they both notched goals against Chivas USA. Ruiz scored a penalty, while Johnson nodded home a Ronnie O’Brien pass, and O’Brien hit an outside screamer to bring the scoreline to 3 -1.

    Still coughing and sniffling from the flu that kept him out of the game against Columbus, Landon Donovan talked to reporters, including 365’s Andrea Canales, following his impressive debut for the Galaxy, where he scored two goals and sent Cobi Jones an assist to help Los Angeles win its home opener against Real Salt Lake, 3-1. It was his first league game since completing his transfer from the Bundesliga squad Bayer Leverkusen.
