Spain has raised our expectations so high that you just can't go out and fun with the game anymore. Imagine pretending you are Xavi, Iniesta or Fabregas? You'll always fail to compare. Spain is so good that it's bad for the game!

They are not human. They do need to be stopped. But we all KNOW that there is nobody there to stop them. Spain is playing soccer so good that it is bad for the game. It's bad for the game because after watching them play I want ALL the soccer I watch to look like Spain.

And that can't happen unless it is Spain.

They play one-touch on the ground and in the air. I think that even if we limited half their lineup to NO-TOUCH it wouldn't even phase them. I would actually probably end up making them better somehow!

It's scary how good they are because in today's 1-0 win over Croatia it seemed close but it wasn't.

Spain wasn't stressed.

Croatia made them put in a good workout, but Pique and Friends never stressed out. They just kept playing the way they know how to play and the result ended up in their favor...LIKE IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO!

They are one of the best teams of all-time. And if they win this European Cup...which they should, they need to be included in the best of all time...no debate!

What I love about watching Spain the most is that they never let the ball stop. Even if a player has time he'll play it to somebody else, just to keep the defense moving. I can't imagine less enjoyable for a footballer than to have to defend against Spain.

They share the ball and rarely let it stall somewhere on the field. Their spacing is perfect. Everybody's touch makes you think they have velcro on their boots. They over-lap and under-lap (see, Spain even comes up with new soccer terms!). They enjoy playing for each other. They don't appear to be moody (did you hear that Netherlands?)...they fullfill their roles better than anybody. They work relentlessly even though they have SO MUCH DAMN TALENT on the pitch.

They are, in a word...perfect.

You can't beat perfection. All you can do is sit back and enjoy watching it.
