Lambert: Villa boss will face his former club Norwich on Saturday

Lambert is currently involved in a legal dispute with the Premier League club following his acrimonious departure from Carrow Road in the summer.

The 43-year-old resigned from Norwich at the end of May to become the Aston Villa manager just days later in June, with Norwich chairman Alan Bowkett subsequently accusing him of demanding £2million for unfair dismissal and suing him.

The LMA, who are representing Lambert, have now warned Norwich not to make any further comments about the legal case in public for their own good.

"The matter is now in the hands of the Premier League Managers' Arbitration Panel and we expect it to be dealt with in early 2013," the LMA's chief executive Richard Bevan told the Daily Telegraph.
