La Viola have picked up seven points from 12 so far, but will tomorrow night take on a Juve side boasting a perfect record at the start of the defence of their title.
And according to Massimo Carrera, who is taking charge of the Old Lady while coach Antonio Conte serves a 10-month suspension, the Turin club are ready to turn up the heat even more at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
"We have only played four championship fixtures, so while other teams may have started badly, there is time to improve," he said.
"But there is also plenty to develop from our point of view and we will try to work on this as much as possible."
Fiorentina drew 1-1 at Parma over the weekend and have little affection for Juve, as has been shown in a number of feisty clashes between the two.
They are desperate for the win too, with goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano promising to pay for his team-mates' dinner if they can pull of a victory.
"I'm going into this game as I do all of the others, but all of the Viola fans who I meet tell me this isn't just another game and I know it," he told La Nazione.
"On my way to training I met two fans, they were about 70, and they urged me to beat Juventus. If we do then I'll take all of the squad out for dinner and I'll pay the bill."
Behind Juventus in the table are Napoli, who have two points less after losing their own 100% record in a draw with Catania yesterday.
They have a tough-looking clash with Lazio ahead of them now, and coach Walter Mazzarri wants his side to respond.
Some critics have said they are not serious title contenders as a result of yesterday's draw, but Mazzarri said: "I never said we'd be fighting for the Scudetto, as I only ever talked about the growth of a squad and everyone knowing what to do on the field.
"Clearly teams who have been fighting for the top of the table for a long time have a different mentality in these situations.
"We will look to win again against Lazio."
Roman club Lazio are third and that fixture is clearly the most attractive of the round, while fourth-placed Sampdoria's meeting with Roma in the capital is also a mouthwatering one.
Roma are fifth, meaning the top current top six are all playing against each other this week.
There has been good news for Roma in the build-up too, with Michael Bradley, Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti all made fit and available for coach Zdenek Zemen.
Roma should be fresh for the clash too, having been given a walkover 3-0 win over Cagliari at the weekend.
Inter Milan sit seventh but their start to the campaign has hardly been a scintillating one and they will be looking for an upturn in fortunes at Chievo.
Mid-table Torino and Udinese also do battle this week, while AC Milan will be without suspended boss Massimiliano Allegri for their meeting with Cagliari.
Catania and Atlanta also square off, while Genoa meet Parma.
Elsewhere, quality is unlikely to be high on the menu at Pescara as Giovanni Stroppa's third bottom side meet second-bottom Palermo, while Siena, still on minus points following their pre-season deduction, take on Bologna heartened by their win over Inter.
