Casadesus: Scored a diving header

The game at the Iberostar Stadium looked to be haeding for a goalless draw before Victor (75) flung himself at Javi Marquez's delicate cross to send a diving header into the bottom corner.

It was all that Mallorca needed to preserve their unbeaten start to the league season and to climb above Malaga, who had topped the table earlier on Saturday.

Second-placed Malaga themselves continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 victory at Real Zaragoza thanks to Nacho Camacho's second-half header.

The hosts had the better of the play before the break but were made to rue a glaring miss by Ndri Romaric after just 18 minutes as he side-footed wide from 12 yards with the goal gaping.

Despite continuing to have less of the ball, Malaga posed the greater threat after half-time and went ahead on 55 minutes when Camacho beat Roberto to Eliseu's cross to head home.

Second-half goals from Iago Aspas and Mario Bermejo were enough to hand Celta Vigo their first win in the Primera Division for five years as Osasuna lost 2-0, slipping to a third consecutive defeat.

Joseba Llorente headed onto the bar with the visitors' best effort early on, but thereafter the hosts dominated and found the breakthrough when Augusto Fernandez's cross was flicked home by Aspas 21 minutes from time.

Alejandro Arribas was then dismissed for a second bookable offence and Celta made their man advantage count in stoppage time when Bermejo rolled in the second.

Promoted Deportivo La Coruna continued their promising start to life back in the top flight with a 1-1 home draw against a Getafe side who last weekend beat reigning champions Real Madrid.

Riki gave Depor a flying start when he netted after just six minutes against his former club but Getafe hit back to claim a share of the points when Abdelaziz Barrada, the match-winner against Madrid, equalised in the 26th minute.

The result leaves Depor still unbeaten with five points from three matches, while Getafe have one point less.
