Sinclair has just 11 months to go on his current contract and speculation has surfaced to suggest he could be a transfer target for City.
Laudrup is not surprised by the transfer talk, having also seen Joe Allen and Neil Taylor linked with summer departures from the Liberty Stadium.
All three players have been away on Olympic duty with Team GB over the past few weeks and have yet to link back up properly with the Swansea squad.
"Scott is the only one I haven't spoken to yet," Laudrup told Sky Sports News after Tuesday's 4-2 friendly victory over Blackpool.
"Yesterday I had a couple of minutes with Joe Allen and today I just said 'hi' to Neil Taylor, but tomorrow all three will be at the training ground so I will have the possibility to speak with them.
"Of course one of the things is to talk about what they want, but of course when you have talented players and they do well in their first year in the Premier League, it is normal that other clubs show interest.
"But supposed interest is one thing, another is what will actually happen at the end of the day."
Laudrup insists that Sinclair is an integral part of Swansea's plans and does not think he would be tempted by a move to a bigger club, where competition for places would be more intense.
Asked how big a loss it would be to see Sinclair leave, Laudrup said: "I don't look at it as a loss. I look at it as an interest, maybe, or maybe not, but I think he is very happy here.
"He knows he is important for the team.
"It is always nice when the bigger clubs have an interest but you have to look at the other players that are playing in the same position at the bigger clubs.
"I think he will stay here."
