Hutton: Likely to leave Villa

Hutton's days at Villa Park appear to be numbered after new boss Paul Lambert signed Matthew Lowton from Sheffield United for £3million last month.

Hutton only joined the Midlands side from Tottenham a year ago, making 37 appearances last season as Alex McLeish's side narrowly avoided the drop, but it is thought Lambert is not a fan of the 27-year-old.

He cost Villa £4million, but Stoke are could land him for half that and, according to the Daily Mail, are in talks with he Scot.

Pulis, however, insists nothing is imminent with Hutton or any other player.

"We've got a lot of irons in a lot of fires, as usual, but nothing will happen until we get back home at the weekend," he told the Stoke Sentinel.
