Toure: Linked with a move to Turkey

Bursasporion Thursday claimed they were in advanced talks with Toure over a potential move for the Ivory Coast international.

Toure's future at City has been the subject of speculation with the 31-year-old failing to hold down a regular place in Roberto Mancini's starting XI after being forced to spend six months on the sidelines following a failed drugs test,

However, Toure's advisor, Saif Rubie, insists talk of an imminent move for the former Arsenal man are wide of the mark and that the defender is focused on pre-season with reigning champions City.

"I am aware of interest from Turkey in Kolo, but talk of a move being close is very much wide of the mark," Rubie told skysports.com.

"Kolo's only focus at the moment is on pre-season with Manchester City and he wants to continue the good work he has done with his brother Yaya at Manchester City.

"Naturally there is a lot of interest in a top player like Kolo, but there is nothing definite at the minute and he is only thinking about next season."
