The adidas cleat is one of the lightest in the game and features an eye-catching colorway. The cleat has a white upper with green, blue, pink, orange detailing. The color combination draws on the inspiration and colors of the cleats adidas has in their Samba collection ahead of the World Cup this summer in Brazil.
The upper of this cleat is made from the adidas HybridTouch unlike the standard edition of the adiZero F50 which has a split HybridTouch/SpeedFoil combination. The tongue of the cleat is made from the new SpeedFoil. The Messi logo is placed in this tongue.
Messi will pull the new cleats on Tuesday and is scheduled to wear them for the remainder of the season before another version is released for the World Cup.
What do you think about Messi’s new look? Are you a fan of the cleat of many colors or would you prefer something a little more traditional?
