Manchester City is coming to America with the 2015 launch of New York City FC and to get fans excited some of the Citizens first string made a visit to some of the Big Apple’s most popular sites.
Defenders Vincent Kompany and Gael Clichy, World Cup winner David Silva, Sergio Aguero, and England keeper Joe Hart along with Patrick Vieira took part in the video to promote the new MLS club in their ‘Join the Movement’ campaign.
The ‘Join the Movement’ campaign will give-away tickets to the first NYCFC home game in the spring of 2015. Winners will be named on Friday from now until December 20 and fans can get in on the action on social media by sharing the ‘City in the City’ video via Facebook and Twitter with one lucky fan winning the grand prize – a signed ball by Man City stars in the video, tickets to the first NYCFC home game, round-trip air and a hotel for two.
