Little Pigeons Fly to England

Chile is in England preparing for a Friendly against the Three Lions at Wembley Stadium and their best line of attack could come from some ‘little pigeons.’  OK that is not in the cards but uncapped players Sebastian Vegas, Roberto Riveros and Carlos Lobos were all in the sights for initiation to La Roja.

Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel sent the image out on his twitter account @MedelPitbull.

Chile and England both qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.  Roy Hodgson’s side will be captained by Frank Lampard. The Chelsea midfielder earned his 100th cap in September and will be honored with a golden cap presented by Geoff Hurst and Frank Sr. at the game.

Chile_TeamThe visitors come to Wembley with a 9-game unbeaten run so will put England to the test.  The last time the two sides met was 15 years ago and Chile took the win 2-0 with a brace from Marcelo Salas.

Sadly for the young players they won’t be able to show-off their new haircuts on the pitch.  The three are not on the game day roster and traveled to England to gain experience.
