Germany is gearing up for the 2014 World Cup and adidas released Die Mannschaft’s home soccer jersey for Brazil. The jersey stands out from the very traditional all-white jersey used the last couple of years.
The jersey has a chevron design on the upper chest with 3-bands of varying shades of red the focus of the design. The element helps the team badge and 3-stars from World Cup victories in 1954, 1974, and 1990 stand-out as well as the adidas logo.
The back of the jersey has a narrow stripe across the shoulders composed of the colors from the German flag as well as the text ‘DIE NATIONALMANNSCHAFT’. The shoulder element is running through all the adidas Federation kits.
