February 1 – Busby Babes Final Match in England

After a slow start to the campaign, Manchester United started to re-discover the magic of attacking football after Christmas in 1957.  And it was with a brilliant and beautiful display that Manchester United defeated Arsenal 5-4 at Highbury in 1958 on this day in soccer history.

The game left fans excited about what magic this Manchester United side might hold for the future but became more memorable as the last time the complete side played as a unit on English soil before the tragic Munich Air disaster ended the run.
