2014 World Cup Draw

The FIFA World Cup draw was held today and the 32 teams know their fate come next summer.  The 2014 World Cup will be the most competitive in history with 12 teams having realistic chances of winning but most are penciling Group G as the Group of Death.

Group G includes world #2 Germany along with Portugal, Ghana and the USA.  All four teams advanced from their group at the 2010 World Cup.

2014 FIFA World Cup Groups:

Group A: Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon
Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia
Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan
Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy
Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras
Group F: Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Nigeria
Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA
Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia, Korea Republic
